“new world orphans” heisst der neue fette longplayer und wird am 13.01.09 in usa in allen läden erhältlich sein. und in deutschland? das weiß nur der gangstametalmusicgod…
die ersten zwei songs haben bereits den weg in den myspace player gefunden. “renegade” und “ordo ab chao” sind so wie ich es mir wünsche: arschcool. (hed) p.e. sind und bleiben eben arschcool…

wer hätte das gedacht… das im jahre 2008 guns n’ roses meine topten anführen würden? über das album möchte ich an dieser stelle nicht schreiben. nur so viel: ich mags. das die weihnachtszeit vor der tür steht sieht man an der neuen nr. vier, the almost mit “little drummer boy”… mein weihnachtssong 2008… wird in nächster zeit viel viel öfter über airport express gestreamt werden…
überraschend gut ist auch die neue the prodigy single “invaders must die”. auf den neuen longplayer bin ich nun sehr gespannt. hier aber (wahrscheinlich) die letzte ausgabe der herr rockn :: top ten 2008:

herr und frau rockn backen leckere plätzchen. hier schon mal eine kleine vorschau (ausschnitt von backblech nr. 2 von insgesamt 6):

nicht viele band schaffen so eine bemerkenswerte entwicklung wie thrice. ich mag ihre ersten hardcorelastigen sachen genauso wie die letzten gefühlvollmelancholischen fire, water, air & earth scheiben. leider hatte ich noch nicht das vergnügen diese wunderbare band live zu erleben (das muss sich ändern). naja, vorerst werd ich mir die neue live cd/dvd “live at the house of blues” kaufen bzw. von frau rockn schenken lassen (ich hoffe sie liest diese zeilen auch…). nun… hier ist das “firebreather” live video von der genannten live dvd:
